D.E.M.I. Trust was launched on 6th January 2018, which marked the first anniversary of the tragic passing of Demi Nicholson. An exquisite ball was held at the Holte Suite in Aston Villa Football Club. The event hosted 350 people and was a great success, raising funds to fulfil the supplies of essential items for students embarking on university life.
The evening featured poetry readings, performances by incredibly gifted musicians, and a large raffle prize drawing. All guests were served a three-course meal ending with a renowned D.J. playing great music to cap the evening. This was an excellent opportunity to honour Demi and make room for her legacy to live on. The Trust provided vouchers for 15 university students from all over the U.K. in its first year.
