WHY WE DO

/WHY WE DO

DEMI Trust carries on the legacy of motivation and inspiration left by Demi. We recognise the challenges that entering university life presents, and we aspire to help students to overcome such difficulties enabling a smoother transition. Demi’s life is remembered by establishing a Trust representing everything she lived for hence why the Trust’s name D.E.M.I. stands for Dream Enormous Make an Impact.

ABOUT DEMI

Demi was a very bright, effervescent, and devoted young woman who, by the age of 11, knew she wanted to be a lawyer and was firmly determined to pursue her dream. In primary school, teachers would call Demi a “little star” due to her lively, gentle nature. A gracefully attractive young woman, Demi had a heart warm with love and compassion and was renowned for seeing the best in others even when they could not see it in themselves. During her final year as a law student at Hope University, Demi was fatally injured in a car accident aged just 21.
